2024 Philmont

Troop 457 had a crew of 9 scouts and 3 adults that attended Philmont this year. They hiked about 50 miles over 7 days. Scouts were able to experience ax throwing, blacksmithing, black powder rifle shooting, tomahawk throwing, gold panning, and horseback riding. They summited Mt. Baldy, which is 12,441 ft above sea level. They were also able to enjoy themed campsites geared towards different time periods and industries during their trek.
