Trip Destination: Camp Rodney

Trip Dates: May 15 – 17, 2009

Departure: Friday May 15, gather at 4:45, wheels move at 5:00pm
From St. Patrick’s Church

Estimated Return: Sunday, May 17, 2:00 pm at St. Patrick’s Church

Itinerary: The Troop will carpool to Camp Rodney on Friday night. Saturday will include Triathalon for 2nd year Scouts and above: Canoeing, Running, Mountain Biking. Newly joined Scouts will complete Tot N Chip requirements.

Special Notes:

-Bring bag dinner for Friday night
-Bring $ for McDonald’s lunch on Sunday
-Permission slip must be signed for participation
-Be prepared for seasonal variations in weather
-Bring extra clothes – canoeing will be wet
-Canoers must have passed swimmers test in last 12 months
-Bring mountain bike, helmet

Driving Instructions:

-Proceed north on 95, cross the Susquehanna River
-Exit at #100, proceed south on MD 272, towards the town of Northeast
-Pass Citgo Gas Station, make right onto Red Point Road – watch for sign!
-Make immediate left onto Arrant Road,
-Make right into Camp Rodney
